Why does that rock >over there show no life, yet PF1 is full of it? Taken in no particular order; >>PF1 is full of it? A rather sweeping generalisation, there is often a mote of wheat in the chaff >>Why does that rock over there show no life Prolonged study of the rock over there leads me to believe the rock is quite alive, just not animate. This is for a particular case of "over there". >>what brings about the spark of life. The PSU of course, but only with suitably fashionable brands. >>quantum mechanics as a field This is the very field where "over there" can be located; quite near the quantum herd is a the inanmimate but steadfast rock. >>plausible theory Much depends on your value of plause. (Consider plause as an ap.) >>Despite string theory Did not Tolkien state "One string to find them all"? (Although he abbreviated a little.) "All" surely encompasses life? I would strongly argue that 26 dimensions are insufficient, 45 or 54 are more likely. If you can arrange sufficient funds for a study grant I will pursue this until an illogical conclusion is reached, or the fund is exhausted. A lot of foam will be required, probably a little cooler than the quantum variety. R2 |

| 293070 | 2004-11-19 12:33:00 | I think that the meaning of life is making as much money as fast as possible. Or maybe it's just hormones :D. But I do really like money.... George |
