292859	2004-11-16 21:08:00	I still get Gecube in Pete, and my supplier regularly restocks with them, so there seems to be no supply issues. My supplier imports them from the US so I'm not sure an NZ distributor problem would affect things for me. It depends where you buy it from I guess. Of course, I suppose you mean Gecube when you say Gexcube? I generally use Gecube as the preferred brand, but there are other good ones. Many of them make motherboard too. Cheers George	george12 (7)

I know there are several other suppliers in NZ but they parrallel import, which can mean that if the product is returned for a warrenty claim it often has to be sent back to Taiwan. Whereas a distributor will replace the product on the spot. Ive heard alot of stories of parrellel importers being very difficult to deal with, if the product needs to be returned they have to pay the costs, so they try all the tricks in the book to try and get out of it. 292861	2004-11-16 23:04:00	I've dealt with one before, faulty ram and man did they seem distressed. They refused to replace it so I got a refund and purchased elsewhere. But no, this supplier replaces on the spot. I wouldn't buy from a company who didn't as in the case above it took 4 months and threats of legal action to get my money back off them, and I still didn't get the working part... I've only ever had one problem with a product from them, it was a DVD writer that was noisy and vibrated, and they send a new one down as soon as they got the faulty one I sent up. Of course, I usually replace it for my customer instantly, from another unit in stock, but it's still nice to get a replacement fast. My supplier's the official NZ distributor of Shuttle PC's though... George	george12 (7)
