Hi Curly, No it is the programming software for the Icom F3. I just want to be able to make hard copy of the templates for each operational programming use. The template will vary depending on the operation involved. John L. ZL2ARF |

All the devices listed under this and similar searches are for USB port on the Computer to Parallel port on the printer or similar device . This is the reverse of what I actually need . But thanks for the thought anyway . John L . |

| 292695 | 2004-11-16 09:07:00 | A Ham radio person! :D My Dad (I'm 14) is a Ham radio enthusiast (ZL2AXA). Not often you see one of them around these days. Not that you could tell one apart easily. Unless of course they put their call sign at the end of a post:). You can redirect your LPT printing to a COM port using the following command: MODE LPTn=COMn. Hope this helps Cheers George |

It does. I have dual boot on this machine. One partition of which is win98. Instead of trying to run the software under XP I'll run it under 98 which will address the serial M.F.C. on of the com ports. I'll need to populate a second com port as the rig programming is done via com1: but thats a minor problem. Re the ham radio call sign. I think probably Curly is too. That's why I added my callsign. I don't think being only 14 should stop you from being a ham if you are interested. Go get 'em. Thanks John L. |
