Hey, is that really possible?:O
I was wondering why the page file was always in use when I have lots of free ram; currently 60 MB Page file and 417 free ram! How do I turn it off please? Vince :)

292555 2004-11-18 17:59:00 Right-Click My Computer, Choose Properties
or
Press and hold WinKey + Pause/Break
or
Go to Control Panel, double-click System. These methods get you into the System Properties, from there

Click on the Advanced tab.

Now inside the Performance box click Settings and in the new window
Performance Options click the Advanced tab.

At the bottom is the Virtual memory box, click the Change button.

You are now inside the Virtual Memory window, inside the white box has Drive letter, Name of the disk and amount set for the Page File, click on the drive(s) that have an amount set and choose No paging file. You will be required to restart when finished.

Just OK everything and that's it.

Is that wise? I understood you were at risk of system stalling/crashing during memory intensive applications?
