293132 2004-11-16 09:45:00 Has anyone got the driver working properly with fc3?
I've installed it & configured the xorg.conf file as instructed. Deleted the rivafb modules as instructed & it can't start X, it goes through a configuration wizard & reloads the generic driver. Any Ideas?

293133 2004-11-16 10:01:00 Hi Phil

Can you post the last lot of error messages at the end of this log:

/var/log/nvidia-installer.log

Also, can you post your xorg.conf after you have edited it so that we can checked that out as well. :)

293134 2004-11-16 10:05:00 Oops - forgot another log ..

In a terminal "su -" to root and run this and post the output back here. Do this right after having the X server reconfigured during startup again.

tail -20 /var/log/messages

293137 2004-11-17 07:13:00 Hi Phil

Could you post the contents of each log for us to read - it makes it easier to troubleshoot the potential problem areas :)
Jen C (20)
293138 2004-11-17 07:22:00 I've never tried to copy files to this before. Do I just copy & paste the whole lot of text in the files. phil.b (4456)
293139 2004-11-17 07:27:00 Yes, just copy and paste into the reply box here, making sure you have specified what text belongs to what log. :) Jen C (20)
