| 293263 | 2004-11-17 08:50:00 | This MB - ASUS P5GD1 Pro has only one IDE connector and 4 Serial ATA connectors. I've got a SATA HDD and it is connected to SATA1. The manual says that the IDE is for a HDD as master and/or another HDD or optical device as slave. Now, I am connecting my CDROM drive to the slave connector but, where shall I connect my CDRW drive? Can I connect it to the Master connector of the IDE cable? Or, can I connect it to one of the SATA connectors? Please advise. Cheers |
