| 293260 | 2004-11-17 08:32:00 | If you install something like iehttpheaders you can see the difference between F5 and Ctrl-F5. For a normal refresh IE will just check if the page has been updated (using If-Modified-Since and If-None-Match). If the websever reports the content as unchanged IE uses the locally cached version. With Ctrl-F5 IE doesn't send any info about the last version of the page it recieved so it will always download fresh content. |
