293381 2004-11-18 03:06:00 Hi NZHawk,

Just to help us answer your question, can you please tell us what operating system (what version of Windows you have on your desktop and laptop), and how you connect the two - ie. do you connect them via a LAN using CAT5 cable, or do you Parallel/Serial/Null Modem etc.

293382 2004-11-18 04:11:00 I synchronise every day between my desktop and my laptop by using SmartSync software. You can set up a schedule to operate automatically at particular times.

You might like to check it out at: http://www.smsync.com/

293384 2004-11-25 03:12:00 could I get some assistance on synchronization. I would prefer to use the Windows fuction vs another program. NZHawk (4093)
293385 2004-11-25 03:34:00 Briefcase is windows syncronisation software. I would also expect that most laptops will come with some form of sync software whether windows or otherwise. Murray P (44)
