294021 2004-11-19 19:43:00 I bought a Pioneer DVR-107D writer.
The DVD / CD writer came with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 (as OEM?).
I see there are updates & patches available from the Ulead site but only for "Retail" versions.
Is OEM the same as Retail?
It looks like the downloads will take a couple of hours or more!
Should I bother or will I just be wasting my time.
TIA, Peter.

I wouldn't bother with the updates.

294023 2004-11-19 19:53:00 Your one MIGHT be the SE version. Just been to the site and the ESD (which is if u buy online I think, retail and SE updates are on the bottom of that update page.

I think the only one you could use is the 13mb english one down the bottom

I dont think the retail or ESD updates with work with your version. Once installed, if u go to about, it should say SE somewhere.
