| 294021 | 2004-11-19 19:43:00 | I bought a Pioneer DVR-107D writer. The DVD / CD writer came with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 (as OEM?). I see there are updates & patches available from the Ulead site but only for "Retail" versions. Is OEM the same as Retail? It looks like the downloads will take a couple of hours or more! Should I bother or will I just be wasting my time. TIA, Peter. |

| 294022 | 2004-11-19 19:51:00 | Basically, OEM means it comes with hardware. Retail means it was purchased as an individual item. I wouldn't bother with the updates. |

| 294023 | 2004-11-19 19:53:00 | Your one MIGHT be the SE version. Just been to the site and the ESD (which is if u buy online I think, retail and SE updates are on the bottom of that update page. I think the only one you could use is the 13mb english one down the bottom I dont think the retail or ESD updates with work with your version. Once installed, if u go to about, it should say SE somewhere. |
