293971 2004-11-19 13:19:00 Am using Firefox 1.0 RC1. Until a few days ago, when in Hotmail I was able to empty the junk mail folder myself - instead of waiting for hotmail to delete in 5 days.
However, now after I select items in junk folder and then click on Empty Folder or delete ?item, a page comes up where you can check a box to inform Hotmail about not wanting that email, and then you have a choice of clicking on "Yes" or "Cancel". But the page just stays there. Nothing happens at all. Can only get out by using Firefox arrow key to return to previous screen. When I check into Hotmail again, the items are still there in the junk folder.

It's not a Firefox problem, as I was on the same version when I could delete the unwanted items. Does anyone else have this problem on PF1?

Have checked Google which gave no help.
Want to get this sorted before I alter Outlook Express to access my Hotmail Account, which hopefully will enable me to virus check hotmails I receive.

293972 2004-11-19 18:11:00 Hi there
Yes, I've noticed it too. I'm using IE and what you describe has happened to me. I have a feeling that it may have something to do with some new programing as when I went to empty, it asked if the checked e-mails where spam. Something to do with them gathering information for the spam filter. Must be a bug in it somewhere perhaps.
