Hypobulia

Difficulty in making decisions (n.)

This one is particularly relevant to me as those who know me can testify, to their great exasperation. :8}

Hand in hand with hypobulia goes procrastination - if one waits long enough one's options invariably decline to the extent that one often no longer has to make a decision after all. :p :D

Suffering from hypobulia does have its advantages - either the
prices for computer parts become cheaper or the hardware improves so
you then get more bang for your buck :D

293834 2004-11-19 07:46:00 I was wondering where Billy Boy had got Susan, haven't managed spotted him lurking, even checked out the new users with a critical eye for tell tale signs ;\

On to the subject, I can't say I can sympathise with your affliction, it being totally foreign to me. Once I've got around to deciding which decision to make then weighed up the pro & cons of that, I get right onto the decision making process. It's quite simple you see, in most situations the decision is to decide whether to make a decision or not or put it aside for further thought at a later date, to be decided upon some time in the future, having figured that out, your home and hosed, the process is set in motion, there's no turning back :D

293837 2004-11-19 08:19:00 Susan,

What do you call difficulty in decideing to make a decision.?

Or is this covered in straight procrastination?

Is this as opposed to devious dithering? I am unable to decide as yet, but time will tell. I must dubiate awhile.

I tried deciding whether to have a go at answering this one or not but it's not as easy as it looks so I am putting it aside for later on when the decision-making brain cells are more fully awake .

Is that hypobolia or procrastination? ?:|

ARGH!!
