Since changing ISP's my dial-up password is not being saved and ticks in LAN settings keep re-appearing after taking them out. My ISP says it must be a system fault and have referred me to Microsoft. I have IE6 sp1, win XP Home & 512mb Ram. Any advice welcome. Pete |

I know. I was told by ISP to untick any Lan settings-but they re-appear. Whether that affects my password problem or not I don't know. |

Try removing all the dialup accounts in Network Connections then reinstall the only you are currently using. Be sure to make a note of the settings prior to uninstalling.
If your computer is not on a LAN you could also disable that one. |

It's solved. Well, when dialing using IE icon. I just ticked setting in IE to 'dial whenever a network connection is not present' It still won't save password from Network connections shortcut icon though. Thanks anyway. Pete |
