| 293784 | 2004-11-19 04:33:00 | also... when this happens, HL2 installation spits out an error code and kicks me out. I think the error code was somewhere in the 1300's |

| 293786 | 2004-11-19 04:40:00 | I'll just reinstall it again for the third time to see if its just me or not | bob_doe_nz (92) | ||
| 293787 | 2004-11-19 04:49:00 | The torrents were an 'experiment' of Valve's to catch out pirates! Don't use the torrents! Valve will ban and delete any Steam accounts used with the torrent files. | wintertide (1306) | ||

I have seen that reported around the places,Seems to be a rumour to scare the gullible off from pirating it....If Valve gave the game away for free through the torrent system then the game is free..... Plus,the warez version would have the steam/activation component ripped out,and won't be phoning home to get disabled..... |

| 293790 | 2004-11-19 05:17:00 | True, and aside from that most w4r3z has a single key in it.... So that'd mean they've essentially given the game away for Single-Player use only? | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

So that means it's not w4r3z anymore? You can't giveth then taketh with the other hand, not without being questioned. Once in the public domain you can't reverse the process. Murray P |
