| 294184 | 2004-11-20 02:56:00 | 98 isnt the easiest os to network. You have to install printer/file sharing then go into the network icon and configure it there, if u want it to get on the net. And if u have a firewall enabled on XP you haveta allow the 98 to get to the shared folder. |

Spacemannz - VMWare is a virtual machine. Keyword here is virtual - there is no Win98 box here, just one computer running windows XP with a Virtual computer (VMWare) running Windows 98 as its OS. The idea here is that you need to network (using virtual NICs) the two "computers" (the physical one and the virtual one) together so files etc. can be transferred as if they were two physical machines.
