| 294327 | 2004-11-21 10:10:00 | Hey Robsonde Saturn does not have ADSL through its network in WGTN and CHCH, it uses cable modems instead. You also need to be aware that Saturn only chargers 10% of normal rate on local traffic, so whilst your limit may only be 5GB, if all you traffic was local infact you have 50GB....much much much more than us on Jetstream. It has the 10MB plan with 10GB traffic limit, like that would last long at that speed. I understand the problem you’re having, you really have 2 options. Stay with Saturn, and unfortunately you'll just have to watch your traffic through the Paradise Website If you go with Telecom (TCNZ), you'll get Jetstream but will have to change your number from the 04 9xx to 04 xxx (Whatever TCNZ has in WGTN). Although Saturn can port your number so if people phone your 9xx number it redirects to your TCNZ number. If you went with TCNZ then you could take you whole account over to TelstraClear (After waiting a contract period or paying an early dis fee), but that is wholesale which is completely different. In Essence everything stays the same except the billing. It does not work in reverse, IE taking your 9xx number to TCNZ. HTH CS |

If TelstraClear have a network in place eg Wellington aren't you stuck with transferring to it rather than just swapping billing? |
