| 294152 | 2004-11-20 23:54:00 | Because if the overclocking feature on the XT cards they are usually the only models that have temperature sensors... I don't bother with video card temp monitoring - like I said previously - if you start overclocking at notice problems with rebooting or graphical "artifacts" (which is just weird looking textures etc) in games then bring the clock rates down a bit. Keep in mind that some cards are just no good at overclocking and some are very good ;) If you are happy with your cards performance or don't want to take the risk of frying it then don't bother with it. |
