| 294870 | 2004-11-22 06:55:00 | Hi mcorleone Did your theme contain a file of Icons? If so, check they included control panel etc. I've used Neowins uxtheme patcher, and some of my themes didn't contain all system icons, even though the sample on the themes site looked as if it did. It usually tells you in the info. Have you checked for any .txt files that came with the theme? Maybe there is some info there or maybe you need some kind of icon packager to do the replacing. Did the desktop items such as my computer, recycle bin etc change automatically or did you have to go into properties to change them yourself. |

| 294871 | 2004-11-22 07:03:00 | also read this while reading about windows blinds and icons etc... >>Why dont the icons on the XP Classic start menu change? Unfortunately when in Classic mode the XP start menu uses fixed copies of icons rather than the main sources, and so IconPackager cannot modify them. Stardock has contacted Microsoft in the hope of getting this fixed on their end for XP SP1, but cant guarantee a solution at this point. Maybe this applies to your situation. |
