| 294546 | 2004-11-21 06:19:00 | what an interesting thing! Ever since I told the nice people at telecom I didn't want to go on broadband, jet, scramjet or whatever, my faithful old dial up connection drops every 60 to 90 minutes. Not only that, but when I reconnect, the speed is so slow you would think I was using an old 2400baud modem. The help desk suggests it's something wrong with my settings (which have been fine on this comp for the last year)...and had I thought of going to jetstream? What an interesting way to correct wrong settings on an otherwise perfect computer. I have perfectly valid reasons for persisting with a dial up connection Tomorrow I shall be enquiring about other suppliers cheers Ojos |

Godfather, This is probably true, however, it is very interesting the ammount of people refusing jet stream and suddenly having this sort of problem. One wonders HOW MUCH controll TeleScam has over the "Problem's" between the exchange and the suddenly slow linspeed properties. I have severall freinds, and customers, in the same developed situation. All are being continuosly bombarded (SnailMail) and spammed to "BUY JETSTREAM". There is no such thing as coiencidence, as any Lawyer or Policeman. D. |
