295071 2004-11-22 10:51:00 I suggest you buy a second hand g4ti4200 and get twice the power of the 2 cards you are looking at.

Otherwise,Both cards are much the same,

295072 2004-11-22 10:55:00 If you are willing to go secondhand, you should be able to pick up a Geforce4 ti4200 for that price.

Whilst being a generation older than both the geforce 5200 and 9200se, the ti4200 is a far superior card in everyway, and will outperform those two cards by a country mile.

295074 2004-11-23 20:02:00 it all depends on the specs of the pc you have. the odds are your pc is quite old (ie slow) and may show little increase by going to a new card. an older (cheaper) 2nd hand card may be better bang for the $$$ tho with an older pc even a gf4 ti4200 may be overkill.

best bet is to post specs of your pc so you can match the card to your system.

295075 2004-11-23 22:25:00 I would personally go for second hand too. However, I'd question weather you'd really need a new graphic card. Chances are, you won't notice any change in your computer's performance -afterall, graphic card ain't the only thing controlling a computer. ~~~~~ s y ~~~~~ (2054)
