294984 2004-11-22 08:51:00 Gidday,
I want an internal tv tuner with remote.
I'd be happy to spend a couple of hundred if need be, but don't know what the best way to choose is. I don't care about decoding sky, I just want to record tv onto my hard drive with quality. Any suggestions? I've seen Pixelview pros with remote for $70 incl, but is the cheapness in relation to the lack of functions, or is this card ok?
Good on ya for helping!

294986 2004-11-22 09:23:00 I've tried 3 different tuners. The Leadtek Winfast is definately the best i have used 4bes (2848)

294989 2004-11-22 19:34:00 Thanks Susan. Should of searched under that title first off. Didn't find much under tv tuner...Cheers! Mcpisik (4924)
294990 2004-11-22 19:37:00 Have a look through this (www.leadtek.com.tw) page and see what suits your needs. I have the WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe. It gives a clear picture and does what i need. 4bes (2848)
294991 2004-11-22 20:09:00 If your willing to spend the money look for a card with hardware MPEG2 decoding, it will mean your computer wont feel like a bloated cat while recording TV. Pete O'Neil (250)
294992 2004-11-23 01:06:00 Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert would be your best bet IMO ;) HadO (796)
