2004-11-21 07:13:00 | Just run it at whatever the manufacturer specifies, probably 60Hz. | alphazulusixeightniner (185) | |
2004-11-21 07:24:00 | I would suggest 75Hz - not 60Hz. Lo.

2004-11-21 07:28:00 | Like resolution lcd has a native "refresh" rate,60hz. | metla (154) | |
2004-11-21 22:13:00 | is there a way to find the native refresh rate? it doesn't seem as obvious as the native resolution...

2004-11-22 00:02:00 | remember that the "refresh rate" on a LCD is only howmany times it updates itself every second. You could have a refresh rate on an lcd of 2 Hz and you would not get hurt eyes. the manafacture probably recomends 60 Hz, so stick with dat

2004-11-22 00:05:00 | Most LCDs use a refresh rate of 60hz, in particular the cheaper ones. | somebody (208) | |
2004-11-22 00:28:00 | Newer (or bigger) ones use 75Hz - possibly the better quality active matrix displays? | HadO (796) | |
2004-11-22 00:31:00 | The refresh rate is tied in with the resolution, setting it to its native resolution will set the correct refresh rate. Then its a case of making sure v-sync is enabled.
