| 295477 | 2004-11-23 19:40:00 | Most probably an ad or even something with spyware. Just close it and put the popup stopper on, if its off. | Spacemannz (808) | ||

| 295479 | 2004-11-23 23:08:00 | Thanks for advice . . . I found this in Opera help which may have a bearing! Does Opera support Active Server Pages (ASP)? Platform: All platforms Active Server Pages (ASP) is a scripting language similar to Common Gateway Interface (CGI) . ASP scripts are processed by Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and the result is sent to the browser as a HTML file (or image or binary file depending on what the script does) . The " . asp" extension isn't used by Opera at all, it's the server that needs it to decide what to do . Opera 7 and higher should support ASP . Please note that there may still be problems, resulting from the fact that the server checks for Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator and sends different pages based on the results . It seems to have vanished with turning off popups . Don't see any result from spyware etc checking . Thanks for assistance . Leonidas |
