2004-11-23 04:51:00 | hey im thinking of buying either an Apple iPod mini or a Creative Mp3. theres only $9 price difference and the creative mp3 is 5 gig but the ipod is 4 gig but im thinking towards the ipod. What do you think i should buy??no flamming or spamming please in this post | Codex (3761) | |
2004-11-23 04:55:00 | Its a difficult choice. On the one hand the ipod mini has a big screen and a good interface for going through all your music and looks cooler ;). But it has a smaller amount of space which is quite a big thing. Probably if you use playlists a lot for your mp3 player then go for the creative one, otherwise good luck finding a song on that 2 line display! Ipod wins on interface, Creative wins on size. Your money, your choice - David

2004-11-23 22:31:00 | Depends really on what you want to do with it . I'd personally go for the Creative one because of it's bigger capacity . However, thats only because I'm always used to organising every file and song, etc . there are on my PC in the ways of folders, etc . If your more of a 'messy' person, I'd recommend the iPod, due to the fact that it has a bigger screen and easier to browse through if you dont really know what your after . Also, I found the iPod has extra add-ons that are more readily available that the Creative ones . Depends on you really . . .

2004-11-23 22:38:00 | I'd choose the iPod, its just cooler and easier to use. Your battery will crap out before you listen to 4gb of music. | Pete O'Neil (250) | |

I used my 15Gb iPod to store several Gb of digital photos when I was on an overseas trip, as well as using it for music. It provided us with heaps of storage through using the Belkin connector (cost $140) - you would have to lay out heaps to get equivalent memory card storage, plus you would have to manage all of those nasty little cards! That is of course if you envisage using a digi camera! |
