295106 2004-11-22 21:16:00 All the excitement about FF made me have a go, but there are a few things that bug me.
FFV1 wont show a dropdown menu from an ASPX site!
and it is slow to load.

295107 2004-11-22 21:21:00 FF 1 u mean. I know what u mean. Eden computers and E-zone have the dropdown menus that FF wont work with. BUT they show menus on the left-hand side. IT just takes a bit longer to go somewhere! Spacemannz (808)
295108 2004-11-22 21:25:00 There _will_ be some websites that dont work 100% with Firefox.

The Gecko Rendering engine however sticks to the standards a hell of a lot more than IE does.

Ive been to some websites that have some downright awesome looking popout menus, they're just coded slightly differently and they "just work"!

I agree it sucks, it leaves me with a choice:
Take that little bit longer to get to where I want to go with the likes of QMB or Eden computers
Email the Web Devs and inform them their code could use a bit of improvement
Fire up IE and leave myself vulnerable

Now, the choice is yours ;-)

295109 2004-11-22 21:27:00 I had problems with the DHL site on monday morning with FireFox. I sent in a polite comment suggesting someone have a quick look at it and guess what, by that evening it was fixed. :) nzStan (440)

I though maybe i could add something plugineee for the dropdown thingy, and reporting it to FF is IMPOSSIBLE ( daring challenge ...)
Not so up on codeing but maybe someone may like to look at
www.imagingtechnology.co.nz source and see if it is just a code error.

It's not a FireFox problem - no point reporting it to them.

If someone made a mistake in the newspaper, there's no point complaining to the guy that made your glasses.

youre saying its definitely a problem with the site coding?

( i thought aspx was very intolerant of coding variations for doing the same thing. ie a drop down box is a drop down box is a drop down box)
