| 295092 | 2004-11-22 18:15:00 | My modem disconnects after 20 minutes idle time. It is set to never disconnect. It is also set to check e-mail every 1 minute, whuch it is not doing. Looking through MS info I see it says modem idle time is 20 minutes. So it is not taking any notice of my never disconnect setting. WHY? Jack |

Down the bottom by the user name and password, both the Properties & Advanced buttons have the setting. Have you tried activating the auto disconnect, then deactivating it again? |

To get around this, small programs like this (www.handyarchive.com) were made to create some traffic in the quite periods. |
