There is a limit to how intrusive advertising can before untill it works against all involved.

295337 2004-11-24 04:22:00 I've managed to block it (I think), however I think the people at IDG might not be too happy if I explain how on this forum. somebody (208)
295338 2004-11-24 04:30:00 don't worry about it. ad blocking is discussed here often dispite the odd grumble from IDG ;-)

host file is my favorite (or use browser in text or cached image mode).

295339 2004-11-24 05:07:00 I'm on Firefox and I don't get that video window or all the stuff going down the r/hand side.
Doesn't leave you much room on your screen for the F1 Posts.
My little screen wouldn't handle it at all.

I think that script shows this (sal.neoburn.net) Plus IMO Those ads are Bandwidth Hogs! I think it has use about 20 MB up/down just by surfing Press F1 & those ads pop up (& I have been away from my computer all most all day)

Here (sal.neoburn.net) is a screen shot of that ad.
