1374832 2014-05-12 22:55:00 Good Morning Have recently upgraded and got a new computer with Win8.1 on it and our scanner which we have had for a about 2 years
will ow only scan on page at a time it come up with an error code 2,155,177 cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off
( I only want to scan a 4 Page document PDF this morning)
Clearly none of these have happened manually. Any ideas? I am computer literate but certainly not a tech

1374833 2014-05-12 23:09:00 Did you install the drivers for it?? Or did you plug it in and windows installed it own drivers?? It looks like there are 8.1 drivers for it

1. Have you tried another USB cable??

2. Are you using a USB hub for it?? If you are remove it.

3. It looks like you can get the 2,155 (dont know what the 177 means) error on some canons if other USB devices are plugged in. If there are any flash drives plugged in somewhere remove them. See if that helps 		Speedy Gonzales (78)

Thanks for the quick reply... I failed to mention that I was trying to use the button in the the front of the machine to Scan
re 1 & 2 .... no sorry I do not have another cable .
There was extra drivers(8.1) installed when I got the computer. ( not by me)

Having tried again to scan the documents using the scan icon it works no problem so this may be the way for me to do it .

Next question is how do I save it as a PDF as it wants to save it as a PNG file .... or JPEG ( + other options) or is there a you tube link how to do this.... I am struggling to find something.

1374835 2014-05-12 23:35:00 Is MP Navigator EX installed?? I think this will scan whatever and let you save as PDF
