1374826 2014-05-12 20:46:00 I have had this program, on a trial basis for around 1 month, the trial expired at the end of last month.

I have no Eset programs on my computer anywhere, yet I still get the eset popup on screen asking if I
want to update the program. Its now 13 days since the trial ended and nothing I do will stop the popups
several times a day. How might rectify the problem ?

1374827 2014-05-12 20:58:00 How did you uninstall it?

* Windows / control panel / Programs / Programs and Features?

* Eset's uninstall program

The manufacturer's uninstall in the Windows start program is usually the best way to uninstall.

When you ask for help, specifics around your PC / Windows version helps.

1374828 2014-05-12 21:03:00 Either uninstall it as you normally would, or buy it. The reason its putting out popups is simply because the trial has finished and its telling you about it. It will by default check many times a day for any updates to the virus definitions and licence time/expiry date, and because its expired it cant.

Remember its a 30 day trial, not install and use for free as long as you like ;)

I understand that it was a 30 day trial and I knew that all along . I have uninstalled it using programs/features and that removed the program, so how do I now
stop the popups ?

1374830 2014-05-12 22:28:00 Use the removal tool (kb.eset.com). Sounds like there maybe a task thats remained on the computer, after you've uninstalled it Speedy Gonzales (78)

That is the wrong tool. This is the correct one (kb.eset.com)
