1374594 2014-05-10 02:27:00 I am using a web editing program called Incomedia WebSite X5 Professional on a Dell Vostro laptop running Windows 7 Professional 32bit.
My problem is that after an hour or so the PCU usage ends up at 100% (memory 40%) and the program crashes. I use Task manager to close the program. When I reload Incomedia WebSite X5 Professional the PCU usage drops to about 4%, and continues to run Ok.

This manifests itself mainly when exporting files either to hard drive or website.

I have never had this problem with any other program on this computer, any ideas what could cause it?

Resolved the problem of excessive CPU usage by simply giving Evolution 10 authorization to access inbound and outbound internet access.

Now Evolution 10 runs like a charm....."

Interesting but it did it off line. I have been using it a lot today and kept the 'Task Manager' open so I could watch the spikes. I am not sure, but I think it does it if you try to preview it if it hasn't been saved for a while. It normally saves every time you do a preview, so I save it manually before doing a preview. Somehow saving files and previewing at the same time gets its knickers in a twist :)

1374597 2014-05-10 20:37:00 I just use Sublime Text 2 to build and edit my websites. I've never had a problem with it. You can use the fully functional demo version for free. I totally recommend it.

The other benefit I get from using a text editor for building websites us that mine don't suffer from any code bloat that you will get from using a template site builder like Incomedia.
