1358416 2013-11-01 02:08:00 Anyone who has a Telstra/Vodafone Warp speed connection you may find its running rather slow. Well slower than what you are paying for anyway.

Had the guy around today and after changing just about everything possible it was tracked back to home base -- the download "warp speed" appears to have gone AWOL, they cant even change it apparently, its rolling back to the older plans.

Ho -hum hurry up and wait I guess while they find out where its gone. So if anyone sees their warp speed around can the send it back home please :D

Too used to this faster speed now. ;)

1358417 2013-11-01 02:17:00 Yep., last week mate downloaded the new osx on warp speed. 5 gib file, 45mins, me on vdsl 15min. Yes very scientific. Both started at same time. plod (107)
1358418 2013-11-01 02:58:00 Vodafone have really gone to the pack since they bought Clear, and they are dragging clear down with them. Had so many problems the last few months.

I setup a VDSL connection for someone on Telecom this afternoon, 50 meg down, 10 up, very nice.

1358419 2013-11-01 03:00:00 Telstra at work has completely disconnected right now and can't get to their website either Chilling_Silence (9)
1358420 2013-11-01 03:01:00 Eww Now they have really broken it :horrified The speed test page now wont load, its gone out looking for the warp speed ;)

On average I'd be getting 75 -85 Mbps Maxing out at 100.

NOW its down to 7 -20 ---NOT happy :groan:

Last night at one stage it went down to 1-3

Uploading is fine,s till the same at 10.

Guess they'll sort it sooner or later.

1358421 2013-11-01 03:07:00 That might explain a lot.I've noticed that my Vodafone connection that used to have a download rate of 1.6MB per second is now struggling to maintain 900KB .. which sucks. Webdevguy (17166)

I downloaded it yesterday afternoon, took slightly longer than 45 mins to do it.

1358423 2013-11-01 04:05:00 VF know about the TC site now, I told them on their FB page it was dead. It does load the main page but you cant get into my profile / or login. They're probably checking it out now Speedy Gonzales (78)
1358424 2013-11-01 08:04:00 Normal ADSL still seems to be the same speed as always in the shaky city gary67 (56)
1358425 2013-11-05 06:20:00 Well the speed came back yesterday morning :banana Apparently "they had a minor outage" according to the contact person, and its noticeable.

Only today have they managed to sort out the actual Plan I Was meant to be on as well, 4 plan changes in less than a month, my usage meter looks a total mess :D The guy at Telstra changed it twice in as many minutes, so it is possible.
