Also, unless she uses Outlook as her email client, expect trouble trying to send emails directly from MYOB. Ok so recommend a better system that has debtors, invoicing, stock control creditors, gl and maybe payroll. |

I've heard good things about Moneyworks (www.cognito.co.nz/), but can't vouch for it personally. I've also heard good things about Xero (http:), but can't vouch for them personally, although they have no native stock control as mentioned previously. However, over the past 10 years I've had to support multiple versions of MYOB, and all of them have been terrible (although admittedly I have no experience with the most recent SQL-based version). What I've found is that MYOB is good at talking up and selling their product, but much less so with providing support when the product doesn't do exactly what you thought you were buying. |

| 1359543 | 2013-11-19 18:23:00 | My accountant advised against Xero - apparently the IRD can get relatively easy access to what might at the time be incomplete or inaccurately coded records, and then jump to wrong conclusions. Jumping in for Xero here - just to let you know, our view is that we'd contact any customers if there was such a request for access so you can work through a proper legal process. Thanks.
