| 1374683 | 2014-05-12 06:58:00 | From Linw Post: Like being pushed into installing win 8 with a MS account that has defaults to onedrive for files and syncing of settings. I have a netbook and this comp on win 8.1.1. Yesterday I used the netbook (doesn't get used much) and found my machines desktop image on it. Not seting it up a"you" want it ;) If you dont sign in it cant upload. Then again you can always simply disconnect the auto sign in Via user Accounts/ make changes to my account in PC settings: 5719 All the W8 PC 's here dont have sign in to a MS account, in fact only 1 has to sign in at all and thats because its to my own server, But it doesn't auto sign in to MS. Heres the trick :D When install, or a name brand PC starting make sure ITS NOT connected to the internet, then when the option appears --- custom - that way you dont need to put in a password, if you ARE connected to the internet the option is not there, this includes upgrading to 8.1 via the store, download the update, when it reboots to install, kill the internet connection. Secondly other computers loading them selves -- when you first connect to the LAN/internet a option shows "share /discover other computers" - if you click discover/allow yes they will, (words to that effect ) if not they wont. |
