| 1375203 | 2014-05-18 22:50:00 | I've just had an email from Windows asking the question below. "We hope you have enjoyed the first month of your Windows 8.1 Enterprise evaluation and have had a chance to familiarize yourself with the basics. Be sure to connect with the Windows 8.1 Enterprise community for the latest product news and insight to round out your evaluation experience." My System > Windows edition informs me I have: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Centre. Now I am confused. What is the Enterprise evaluation? Peter |

Once its expires if you want to carry on using it you have to either reinstall it, OR remove it and install a paid version. The evaluation version can not be changed to a paid product. The Enterprise evaluation will have on the bottom right hand corner of the desktop the wording saying its an evaluation and X number of days left. If you downloaded the Software ( Enterprise evaluation) then you will have to have registered with MS, and thats a standard mail they send out, doesn't matter if you install it or not. |
