295944 2004-11-25 06:38:00 Chatted to the friendly men at woosh, they were adamant that a compensatory package will appear in 1st quater next year, for all existing account customers.

So it is not advisabley to swap to the contract deal at this point and no they would not transfer the @mail add.

I threatened him with an internet quote and he did not nave an issue wiith that.

295945 2004-11-25 07:24:00 I think this a fly or die thing for woosh. I personaly think they will crash, burn, die if this promotion doesnt work.
They appear to me to be on the same flightpath as that Kiwi arlines in Hamilton and that Maori place run by a pom under the harbour bridge in Auckland.
If its too good to be true it probaly isnt.

I didn't bother reading such a long, boring discussion. But I am intrigh=ued why you think 256kbs is anything like dial up.

What do you mean by "in my books"?

295947 2004-11-27 07:19:00 Don't knock things you know nothing about!
I have had Woosh service at home for about 3 weeks, and at 9-10 times the speed of dial up I am not complaining.
With the extension of coverage they are putting in I am sure they will be successful.

What all the blind TeleScam lovers cant/wont see.

Is that Woosh, Wired country, and the like, are responsible for the better deal they are getting from TeleScam now.

So even those who refuse to see the light, benifit from the competetion.

Whats wrong with that? TelecomXtra is $336 for 12 months. Woosh only marginally more expensive
