| 295651 | 2004-11-24 00:46:00 | Hey guys, I'm looking for a job and thought I'd do the whole Job Networking thing by asking you guys if you know of any. I'm looking for a job preferably to do with computers between waiwera and the auckland CBD. A study by AUT shows that the last thing employers do is use and employment agency or place an ad so I just thought I'd put myself out there. I hope I'm not breaking any PF1 rules. Cheers Willie_M |

Advertise. If you're any good there is craploads of domestic IT work out there, de-spyware/virusing machines, doing updates etc etc. Church newsletters, supermarket boards, community papers, and once you've done a few word of mouth should sort out the rest. I turn down a huge amount of work in Wellington because all I do all day is IT crap, the last thing I want to do outside of hours is more of the same - unless I'm gunning for a new toy then I might chuck in a day or two for extra $$. |
