296507 2004-11-26 00:59:00 Do a search in Excel Help for check box or checkbox. That'll explain all. Spout (6433)
296508 2004-11-26 01:07:00 I'd better clarify this.

I don't want a check_box as one would use for a Macro, just a "tick" in a cell. Cant seem to see one on my keyboard. :D

Thanks anyway Spout.

296509 2004-11-26 01:13:00 Insert (MENU) - Symbol - Select the Wingdings font if not already selected, then click on the tick. That should do it

Hope this helps

296510 2004-11-26 02:28:00 I can find "insert - symbol" in Word, but not in XL, Marlboro.??

Even then I can't find a simple "Tick" :(

296511 2004-11-26 02:33:00 Select the font Monotype Sorts a tick is the number 4 and a cross is number 6. Spout (6433)
296512 2004-11-26 03:39:00 1. Select Cell
2. Format|Cells|Font Tab|Wingdings font
3. In Windows ... Start|Programs|Accessories|System Tools|Character Map
4. Change font to Wingdings in CM and copy and paste into Excel cell.

All fixed (ALT+0252)

The good thing is once you've got one you can copy and paste. :D
