296514 2004-11-26 00:35:00 I see big bruvver Billy has popped in to PF1 a couple of times this week but I think I am supposed to still do this week's WFTWE. Sorry if it is a bit early but I might not have the chance to get my paws on a PC later on today.

Galeanthropy

The delusion that one has become a cat

If the female in your life is prone to hissy fits and cat fights she could be suffering from galeanthropy. The easiest way to fix the problem is to stop stroking her fur the wrong way. ;-)

Probably more of a problem, or even catastophe in some people's view, is the fact that most cats suffer from the delusion that they have become humans. Don't ask me how to fix that one though. :-)

PS If you really do think you have become a cat you will probably feel quite at home here (http://www.claw.org/)

I don't think that has happened to me (yet), but I really do find cats most becoming.

In my opinion they are wonderful creatures. :)

If they are so wonderful then why do they insist on digging up my garden, crapping on my lawn, killing local birdlife and generally making a nuisance of themselves around the neighbourhood?

Agreed. I won't try to defend that and I fully sympathise with you.

They are wonderful creatures, but the habits of some cats leave a lot to be desired as far as non cat owning neighbours are concerned. :(

ps. I don't own a cat. All the neighbourhood cats call frequently to get a friendly rub under the chin. I don't entice them with food as I think that's not fair for their owners.
Susan, that is a very nice typed pussy cat icon you signed off with.:)
