A lack of understanding here, with this view. People that send out such email traffic will never allow inbound emails to the "from:" address. That mailbox will always be blocked. Result? You chew up internet bandwidth bouncing the traffic, for absolutely no effect. Bouncing spam emails is generally a bad idea, it achieves nothing. |

| 296232 | 2004-11-26 21:28:00 | surely you just block the sender. I know Radia Rhema would be top of my blocked list if I ever got one from them. | theotherone (1421) | ||
| 296233 | 2004-11-26 23:21:00 | LOL well i didnt bounce them i just put remove in the subject box, and they removed me supposedly. but next day i get the next installment, so same thing but as all my addys go to one inbox and only show up the one name then cant tell which other addy may be at fault so she (lady who responded) has gone and cleared all names from database and at this stage, no incoming mail from them....... so at the moment im happy, but will see how long this lasts for. | 296234 | 2004-11-27 09:00:00 | A story in the Register (www.theregister.co.uk) about a screen saver that you can download, once istalled it sends out requests to know spam servers. Obviously, if there is enough of them it will overload the server similar to a DDoS attack. Is all fair in love & war, or is this stooping to a lower level? |
