| 296768 | 2004-11-26 21:39:00 | Recently my trial of Cashbook complete was reaching an end... i decided that rather than buy it, that it was cheaper to make my own web version. How many people reckon that there should be an equivelant web version? [or would want one] I looked at several sites for scripts in ASP/PHP but none really matched =/ I was sort of hoping to find something as good or as good as, but i didnt so i started making my own. |

I understand some of the concepts of what your saying though. there is a security issue as with everything. |

But overriding that is the fact that the small businesses that would use a Cashbook type application do not know of them, do not want to know of them, do not have the understanding and do not have either the time or inclination to find out. They will, by and large, simply mistrust any concept of their data being "sent" anywhere over the web. The effort needed to overcome that mistrust aspect would make the creation of the cashbook application simple in comparison. |
