| 297640 | 2004-11-28 23:15:00 | Managed to sort out the problem with the HDD the \windows\system32\config\system file is corrupt. The last time we tried to start the computer and run Win XP Home in repair mode, the people who own the computer did not know the admin password. Is there a generic password that M$ have not told us about to be able to access repair mode. Or did the PC Company use the same admin password for all their PCs |

| 297643 | 2004-11-28 23:26:00 | Most passwords I would say are entered (if u use one) on installation of XP. I dont think shops would put passwords in , since I doubt that you wld have to ask for it, if u brought a system from a shop! |
