298097 2004-11-30 00:45:00 Transcend metla (154)
298098 2004-11-30 00:59:00 I second Transcend. But as always, you may or may not get the 'good' or 'bad' Transcend. Those USB flash drives are dirt cheap compared to what it was a few years back. So I think anything should do, as long as its got the capacity you want and fits your budget. ~~~~~ s y ~~~~~ (2054)
298099 2004-11-30 01:01:00 Yeah Transcend are pretty good, though they are much of a muchness.

Great investment, wouldn't be without mine.

298100 2004-11-30 01:11:00 Yeah I had my eye on the Transcend Jetflash-A, it looked the best to me :D Growly (6)
298101 2004-11-30 01:12:00 Oh, and they come with that cool neck thing. Growly (6)
298102 2004-11-30 04:39:00 Getting a thumbdrive that comes with a USB cable extension is really handy for those machines with only rear USB ports. I got a A-DATA USB 2.0 thumbdrive which included the neck strap and a USB extension cable. Jen C (20)

Ascent lists several Transcend. What is the difference between Jetflash and Jetflash A ?

298104 2004-11-30 04:46:00 I am *guessing* that a JetFlash is USB 1.1, and JetFlash A is USB 2.0.
