297990 2004-11-29 22:54:00 Hi Fellow F1ers,

I am currently with Woosh Wireless. The reason I joined Woosh last year was because, where I live, we don't have a copper wire connection for the phone ($800 for the installation of new wires, so that was a big no no).

I now have Counter Strike Source, and love the online gaming. Woosh is giving me high latency, and have been told by some that Wired Country will give me better latency. I need better latency so I can kill better :P

Can anyone provide some information about Wired Country. Don't give me the website address, because I know it, and have been there.

I need feedback from customers of Wired Country or Woosh, or those who have used the services before etc.

Thanks,

Sleazy Question, which version modem do you have, Im looking for a spare for my laptop.

297994 2004-11-30 04:33:00 Even if you increase the signal strength, Woosh is still going to be slow. It's the way it's designed. E|im (87)
297995 2004-11-30 04:45:00 I think I got modem verson 1.4. Thats what it says in the help file. I think it is the old modem as I see Woosh have a new modem out at the moment.

And the Modem Staus monitor is 4.2.1.2h

Hope this helps???
