| 297753 | 2004-11-29 09:00:00 | Pick up a video capture card or TV tuner card that has AV inputs and relevant software and you'll be away.... Try something like this one.....Here (www.pp.co.nz) | davidb (5576) | ||
| 297754 | 2004-11-29 09:00:00 | Do you have a video card with video in signal at all? Otherwise you could go the route of buying a TV tuner card for your pc as this will give you that route. 1hr of footage will use up to 13GB of hard drive space until it's encoded down to something more manageable. What format do you ultimately wish to store and view it on. Another option is to find a friend with a more up to date camera and upload it thru theirs to a Pc, my Sony accepts Video 8 and digital 8 tapes for instance and connects via Firewire or USB or Video / Audio out Yet another option may be your local Photo shop, some can dump tape onto VHS, CD DVD etc What part of the country are you in? |

| 297758 | 2004-11-29 09:14:00 | i had a look at the one from dse but the problem is with that one is that i have A GeForce4 Ti and it says Please Note: nVidia chipset based video cards such as GeForce2, GeForce3 and TNT, may not support overlay mode which is used extensively by this card. |
