| 297593 | 2004-11-29 01:24:00 | Hi I have a PC set up exclusively as a jukebox PC. To this end I have inserted a shortcut to the exe file for Musicmatch Jukebox (audio player) in Windows start folder so that it automatically launches this program everytime the PC starts up. Thst is working fine but when i click on "turn off" I get Windows telling me that the above mentioned program's exe file is still running and then have to click on "end now" to kill it so that the PC can shut down. Had it running perfectly previously before I reformatted the thing a few weeks ago ok so can't figure out why its doing this time round!! |

As I stated in my 1st post I had it set up okay to run Musicmatch when PC started up and when I switched off all was okay but now for some reason, after reformatting and setting up the PC the same it won't work! What I have done is to place a shortcut to the programs exe file in my startup folder. C:/Documents & Settings/Paul/Start Menu/Programs/Startup This is exactly how I had it set up prior to reformatting my PC acouple of weeks ago when it worked fine but now, for whatever reason it comes coming up with the dialogue box telling me that mmjb.exe is still running when I go to shut the PC down. |

I know this is stating the obviously chemical, but is the programme actually closed? and not hiding in the system tray? |

| 297598 | 2004-11-29 02:12:00 | Maybe I got that wrong . Umm the startup folder u said sounds right . that mm file is the musicmatch file . So, I take it u quit mm before u shut down then . Otherwise it wouldnt say its running . What part doesnt actually work? It running at startup or windows telling u its running when you shut down / when it hasnt or didnt start in the first place . |
