| 298521 | 2004-11-30 21:00:00 | There was a previous post in here about people, not being able to use sites that end in aspx. (the dropdown menus) didnt work. To fix this, install the Java 1.42.06 update from Sun. If u use Firefox or Opera (or other non IE browsers. This will fix the prob, so when u select the dropdown menus on sites ending with asp(x), they'll work. Opera might not be as bad as u can get the Java in the install, BUT this is a previous version of Java. You'll have to get the 1.42.06 install of Java from the Sun site. |

| 298523 | 2004-11-30 21:17:00 | lol i dont know (not that techy on making sites, or whats what), but the local pc sites here use aspx well, sites ending with .aspx and before I installed Java from Sun. (I think most ppl think Firefox installs Java, or used Windows Java if installed), which by the looks of it, it doesnt. Coz as soon as I installed 1.42.06 of Java the dropdown menus worked. Without the Sun Java, it doesnt, BUT in firefox, it showed u a menu of what was in those dropdown menus,(on the lefthand side), but took u longer to find what u wanted! |
