299221 2004-12-02 08:55:00 Hey guys, been having a problem playing CounterStrike Source lately well today only really.

I log on a NZ server using a program called " The All Seeing Eye"

Didn't have problems before but now when I play I get this (sal.neoburn.net) error message.

Anyone have any ideas or has anyone experienced the same error.

PS Steam has been downloading hard out this morning so I would say my game files are up to date.

cheers

299222 2004-12-02 09:02:00 At the valve/steam site they have a file verifier that will scan your installed files and overwrite any that have been corrupted,Only took a couple of minutes when i done it. metla (154)
299223 2004-12-02 18:26:00 It's a known problem. Should be fixed in an update soon. Interestingly though, it went away when I got another half gig of RAM (I had 512MB.) Wilky (776)
299224 2004-12-02 20:41:00 I used the file verifier and it didn't tell me anything was wrong... but since doing that I havn't had any problems... I"m not sure whether it's fixed as the steampowered site says a fix is coming soon.

Wilky I have 1GB DDR 400 already so I don't think that's the problem, thanks for the tip though.
