298873 2004-12-01 22:41:00 Just treated my old system to a DSE 4-port USB 2.0 PCI Card.
3 External and 1 internal. I appear to have managed for years without an internal USB port. Have I missed something? What would you hang off it?

298875 2004-12-01 22:50:00 Or you could just connect it to the front USB ports - or add one to a backplane. Growly (6)

The backplane:

back = back of the PC

The plane on the back of the PC = the metal strip that USB sockets are mounted on.

Either those on the case itself, or added as a removeable strip where the PCI card "backplanes" are attached.
