298786 2004-12-01 20:36:00 I'm a pensioner so not able to afford lots of lolly, but I want to do a little research project where I need good photographs of Christchurch from the air. I know these are available at a price! And I seem to remember being told some years ago that they were also available on the Internet for free.
Can anybody tell me where?

298788 2004-12-01 21:33:00 That's very cool Metla.

298789 2004-12-01 22:00:00 Gee they are cool Metla, though they're a few years old now and a bit out of date. Aerial views fascinate me - I always sit with my nose glued to the window when flying. :p :D

Thomas: this photo (earthobservatory.nasa.gov) might interest you as well. It is way better than a similar one that used to be my desktop pic.

Biffs out current desktop pic to replace with new satellite photo... mmm, nice. :-)

298793 2004-12-02 00:08:00 I have just used some "special software" similar to that used on CSI, and I can see my neighbour was sunbathing topless by the pool that day.

Impressive! (the result, not the neighbour)

(sorry, I cannot share the software according to Grissom)

298795 2004-12-02 04:04:00 I love the green colour of Lake Ellesmere. Forsyth is a very dark green. What have people been putting in them? Graham L (2)
