| 299271 | 2004-12-03 00:56:00 | Win2k SP4/XP SP2 on 5 computers, no problems. Had to mess with the email settings to get it to work properly, but once that was done everything works fine. It seems to need local ports 10110 and 10025 free for the email, so maybe this is why ZA mailsafe conflicts (same ports?). Seems to pick up more viruses than version 6, and also works fine on a proxy server - it can scan all email going through the proxy too. It also picked up one that norton couldn't find yesterday (latest definitions for both), and I have to say that this surprised me a bit. Bletch |

The practice has been that you identify what operating system you are using. Am I missing something here - is this just an academic discussion or have you some serious purpose or problem in mind ? cheers Misty ]:) By the way, I am having serious withdrawal symptoms because every day I would login and update AVG and feel good because of that. Now it is done automatically and I miss that buzz ! :( |
