| 299540 | 2004-12-04 03:38:00 | Hi guys I just brought System Commander 8 off the net (downloaded version, couldnt wait for the shipping) . Now that I've installed when I try to 'partition an HDD' or 'add a new OS' from the boot-loader that it made, my monitor just go blank (as it was like it was switched off) . At the first few seconds the computer loads or does something because it said that the System commander needs to analysis the computer but after a second or two my monitor screen will just suddenly becomes blank . . . , the monitor doesnt switch off just goes blank . So I was wondering does any one know whats wrong? The computer is pretty old, an AMD-k6 500mhz, would it be some sort of incompatibility with the bios or mb? I read the manual and did a search on the net but no FAQ or forums that I came across had this problem >_< . Right now it has Win98SE installed Thanks Jase Sen |
